Job Description & Overview:  

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and analytical individual who can work as a Supply Chain Planner alongside our stock and procurement department. You will need to ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and productions continuity. This will be an integral role within our business and is crucial to our company’s success. We have a fantastic working environment with a vibrant, hard-working team!

 

Key Duties:

•       Being responsible for the ordering of all product components and to understand how much of each component needs to be ordered going forward.

•       Ensuring the smooth running of the order process, making sure everyone in the supply chain is updated with the latest information on orders.

•       Liaising with manufacturers to ensure lead times for component orders are in line with requirements that are needed.

•       Liaise with suppliers regarding end of month stock reports and matching up figures with the stock management system. Any discrepancies would need to be fully investigated.

•       Control over-stock and how much is used for each order. Make sure product yields are within normal limits.

•       Regular maintenance of the stock management system which includes receipting orders when they arrive at the warehouse.

•       Raising and reviewing open purchase orders.

•       Maintaining Stock.

•       Booking in shipments.

•       Managing dispatches from manufacturers.

•       Maintain good relationships with suppliers and always look at ways the process can be streamlined.

•       Handling technical documents.

•       Liaising with manufacturers on product trials.


Essential Skills:

•       Strong organisation and attention to detail.

•       Strong communication skills.

•       Excel at intermediate level or above.

•       Background in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods).

•       Background in Health and Beauty (preferable, not essential).
