The Role:

This is an exciting time to be part of this international business’s development. Reporting to the Sales Director to ensure the continued strength of our current Amazon Marketplaces, ensuring that customers can discover, purchase and access products effectively on-line. This will involve managing an already lucrative and growing list of marketplaces.

Additionally, you will be responsible for launching new products, submitting promotions and campaigns and analysis of their success. You’ll also be launching into 4 new marketplaces and report on the weekly and monthly sales figures identifying successes, best practice and any remedial action necessary.

The Person

  • You must have experience of working with Amazon / Seller Central
  • Advanced excel skills and sound knowledge of tech in general
  • Communicate effectively at Senior management level, you will be amongst the Amazon ‘champion team’ within the business.
  • This is an extremely busy role; it requires someone who can manage an extensive workload.
  • You are required to be proactive in improving the process and changing the strategy to suit the needs of the business
  • AMS/Digital Marketing experience would be very advantageous but not essential
  • Advantageous if you are able to speak the following: French, German, Italian and Spanish, but not essential
  • We welcome people whose experience covers the US or Asian marketplaces

As a Marketplace Specialist you will manage the day to day operations of the Amazon Store and help grow the business, expand online sales by setting up and managing new (and existing) product listings, sponsored ad campaigns and promotions.

You will analyse product sales and channel performance to deliver optimum profitability and agree targets reporting to management. In this role you'll be required to learn and adapt to our inventory and listing management systems, as well as other software necessary for the day to day operations of storefronts. Ensuring keywords, titles, product descriptions and prices for all listings are optimised to ensure the listings stay competitive and well-ranked in the search results.

The successful candidate must have a good understanding of online sales and retail, some background in analytics and the ability to compute and extrapolate numbers. You should have an excellent understanding of keywords and importance within online marketplaces. Ideally you will have experience selling on Amazon or other marketplaces and worked on Amazon FBA (forecasting and shipping to Amazon), Amazon Sponsored ad's, Amazon AMS, Amazon Brand registry , Amazon Pan EU
